Join the Nationals for a day of baseball fun!

You are invited to the Washington Nationals Play Ball and Summer Reading Event on June 10.

The Washington Nationals will host two Play Ball and Summer Reading Events in the Washington Metropolitan area for kids ages 5-14. The events will be held at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy in partnership with the District of Columbia Public Library, and at St. James Flagship in Springfield, Virginia.

There will be a book reading with MiLB players and several baseball and softball activities led by Washington Nationals and the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy.

No prior baseball/softball experience is required. Dress comfortably in athletic clothing, bring your water bottle, and come prepared to have a good time!

All registered participants will receive a free bat, ball, and baseball-themed book.

TIME:
Check-in: 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Reading Presentation: 9:15 – 10 a.m.
Play Ball Activity: 10 - 11:45 a.m.

Bats, balls, and books giveaways will be available for registered participants upon leaving the event.

WHAT YOU GET:

Attendees will participate in a baseball/softball introductory-style clinic. Participants will receive a free bat and ball set from MLB and a baseball-themed book from the Washington Nationals. Participants will also have the chance to purchase a pass for the Super, Awesome, and Amazing activity center at The St. James.
